Bloggers for Relief PH: Project Hygiene Kit

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another” -Charles Dickens
The devastation caused by the typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) has affected not only a few cities and houses in the Philippines but the majority of the Visayas region where the death counts has now reached thousands and number of families affected now millions.
A conscious effort is now being undertaken by the Davao Bloggers Society to join the relief operations by raising a total of P100,000.00 to finance and produce 1,000 hygiene packs for the victims. Each kit will contain toiletries and other essentials good for one week’s use by one person. Hygiene kits were chosen to be donated as this is something that is not yet prioritized by many donors. One hygiene pack costs P100 or $2.50.

Each kit will contain the following:

For males:
Total Cost: PhP95.60

For females:

Total Cost: PhP100.00
I’m calling all my friends to pledge now and help the families, especially the children, in the affected areas of Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). For only P100 or $2.5, you can already donate one hygiene pack. You can also write your message/s for the Yolanda survivors on a sheet of paper which will be placed inside the hygiene pack. If you will make your pledge online or send the donation via Paypal, you can still send an electronic note. Just send in via email (algene@iamthecoffeechic.com) and I will print it for you! All notes will also be posted in my blog to give thanks to everyone who extended their helping hands.
Send them a note and a hygiene kit! You can message me on Facebook or contact me at algene@iamthecoffeechic.com for the pledges. Let’s work together in helping our fellow Filipino people. In our little ways, we can make big differences.

For goods, the drop-off point is: Mam Bebs Bakery
Location: CVA Building, CM Recto Street, Davao City
(fronting City Triangle, adjacent to Ateneo Claveria Gate)
Mondays- Fridays, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
You may also send your cash donations via PayPal to merchant@alleba.com. Send the confirmation email (or a screenshot of it) to: bloggersforreliefPH@gmail.com.

Feel free to contact bloggersforreliefPH@gmail.com for all your inquiries and questions. Please also help us disseminate this information to those who are willing to help and contribute. All kits and other donations will be turned over to Ateneo de Davao University. Bangon, Pilipinas!
