Daddy’s Little Girl

This is a sweet note for my dad who is celebrating his 50th birthday today!

Meet my first love. He is the reason why I’m hopeful about life. I grew up seeing his positive outlook in everything. Whenever I complain that I couldn’t do it, he reminds me to believe in myself. In times of failures, he tells me to get up and give it another try. Even if I don’t get to see
him everyday, I can feel that he’s near me.. It’s really sweet when he makes long distance calls just to ask us how our days went. I know it was not easy for him to work abroad but still, he did for the sake of our family.
I appreciate every single thing about my dad! Yes, I am a daddy’s girl and I’m proud of it.
Happy birthday to the most important man in my life.
I love you so much, Papa! I miss you. I can’t wait to see you this summer. Let’s spend more happy days together. One day, you will be proud of me.
I love you! I love you! I will always be your little princess.

Not all fathers are as expressive and close to their daughters. You are lucky because you and your father has this exquisite bond. Just by looking at the photos, I know you truly are a daddy's girl. 🙂

happy 50th birthday to your dad, it must have been a big sacrifice for him to work abroad, but all for the best of you and your family, he did and he is very well rewarded by having such a loving and thoughtful daughter as you.

Geez! I can't help but shed some tears by reading this post. I can feel the love and emotions embodied in this post. I feel you, Algene. You're lucky you still have your Dad where you can express how much you love and appreciate him.

Happy birthday to him and may you cherish your relationship with him while he's still around. I have lost my father 10 years ago and I can only wish I can physically express how much I care for him. I wrote a few articles about him on my blog though but it's different when you get to express it yourself when the person is still around. This post just made me miss my own father all the more.

I wish your Dad many happy returns of the day. Have a blessed week ahead, Algene!

  11. Aww! What an amazing tribute for your Daddy, Ate Algene. Me too, I've always seen my Dad's positive outlook in life and strong faith to God while growing up. I look up to him so much.

If your Daddy reads this, he'll surely love this as much as we do.

  12. I never have this kind of relationship with my father. I am the black sheep in the family, as they call me. But I do miss and love my father though.
