Dressing for Your Figure

Have you ever looked at another woman and thought to yourself “I
wish I could get away with that outfit
?” You are definitely not alone.
We all come in different shapes and sizes and have to dress accordingly. Womenlove fashion, but some women seem to be clueless. I have seen many women
wearing clothing that does not go with their figure and find myself shaking my
head in disapproval.
I don’t want to sound like I am judging someone by what they wear (though
sometimes that is the case). Wearing a dress that is too short or too tight in
the wrong areas can give you an image that is less than appealing. On the
reverse side of that, finding what fits you can make you stand out no matter
what your size.
For a woman with curves you will want to find something that flows along
with those curves. Try to avoid anything that is too loose at will make you
appear to be bigger than you actually are. At the same time you will want to
avoid anything too tight as you don’t want to cinch your waist. Anything with a
high neckline should be a definite no for you.

If you are a busty woman you should think about tops or dresses with an open
neckline. You should avoid anything that is off the shoulders or anything that
includes a wide belt. You are going to want to draw the eyes up unless you like
your breasts being stared at by strangers. You can do this by incorporating
v-neck shirts and simple tops with minimal design elements.
On the opposite of the larger breasted woman we have those who lack in that
department. It’s likely you are going to want to add definition to your bust
and you can do so by wearing strapless tops and shirt dress articles that will
show your slim silhouette.
For all you fellow short ladies out there, finding women’s pants andshorts can be your hardest obstacle. If you find yourself struggling
with length to match the waist you may want to look for styles that fit the
latter and tailor the length to your stubby leg size. When talking dresses you
want to go with something mid length.
Keep the hem right above or below your
knees.
For those of you without curves who considered your shapes to resemble that
of a young boy, go with dresses that have wide belts that will show off the
slimness of your waist while creating a look that says you have hips. Stay away
from tank dresses – shirt dresses should look good on your frame.
One of the toughest areas for a woman to feel confident is the belly area.
If you are like millions of other women who carry your weight in your
midsection, you will want to stay away from anything that accents the
waistline. Go for empire or A-line style dresses. Open necklines will help to
draw the attention up, avoiding attention to your waist.
Regardless of your shape, there is a way to do it right. Followingsimple guidelines will help you to feel good about yourself. Confidence is
what really makes a woman beautiful. While you can find confidence in many
facets of life, you will want to look as you feel on the inside. Unless of
course you are a size 10 and feel like a size 2, in that case you should go
with what’s on the outside.
