Extraordinary Love for Blogging
I am writing this post to express my gratitude to the officers and members of the
Official Davao Bloggers for giving me two awards last December 7, 2012. For some people, the two certificates I received were just pieces of papers with some words printed on it. However, for someone like me who has a deep love for blogging, those awards mean a lot. It feels really good to know that there are some individuals who recognize all the works I do for my blogs, especially for
The Coffee Chic.

The Bloggers Royale: Davao Bloggers Christmas Party 2012 was held at My Hotel on a Friday night. I had second thoughts on attending the events because of my classes in the law school. But when I thought of the things that I might miss, I decided to be absent for the four subjects. I guess I made a good decision because only two professors held their classes and most importantly, because of the Davao Blog Awards.
Up to this moment, I still have no idea why www.iamthecoffeechic.com was chosen as the Best Personal Blog. I would be a hypocrite if I tell everyone that I was not happy with the award. Of course, I felt elated when President Dulce Lada called my name and gave this (see below) to me.
The Coffee Chic (www.iamthecoffeechic.com) is my first ever blog. It is the online journal where I share all my random thoughts and sudden rush of emotions. Every time something exciting or wonderful happens in my life, I make it to a point that I publish them on my blog. Whenever I get my heart broken or experience failure, I write posts on my site. And guess what, the pain suddenly goes away. I must say that The Coffee Chic makes me happy in so many ways.
2012 was the best year for my personal blog. If you can see the archives on the sidebar, it will reveal that 2012 is the year when I have written the most number of posts. The reason behind this is because there were many events that happened in my life during the year. I became active on my site for there were so many stories that I would like to let my readers know.

Finally… A wonderful group of bloggers gave some recognition for all the efforts I have been putting for my sites. Thank you Davao Bloggers for this! You have no idea how much you made me happy. Because of what you did, I became more inspired to blog.
I am perfectly aware that there are some people out there who really don’t care about the things I post in my blog. These persons will never understand why I talk about the teeny weeny details of my life. They even exclaim “I don’t care about what you write!” Well, I only have one thing to say to them: “NO one is forcing you to open my blog. This is my life and I believe that I can do whatever I wish to do.”

This is where I share all my food adventures. Do not expect too much from my food blog because I’m not really a food critique. I simply say what I like about the food on the table and that’s it. Nothing more. There are also posts on restaurant openings, new menu launching and food events at Chic Foodies.
I Heart Giveaways (www.iheartgiveaways.info) –
This one year old blog showcases different giveaways worldwide. There are different prizes up for grab such as Paypal cash, Amazon gift cards, Shopping Credits and many more. If you are the type of person who loves to join giveaways, then make sure to visit I Heart Giveaways regularly.
The Law Chic (www.thelawchic.com) –
This site was created when I entered law school. Some of my notes and case digests are posted there. Since I barely have time these days, I can no longer update it. Let’s see when I can check The Law Chic again.
Right now, all I know is that I’m proud of being a blogger.
Not everyone can understand what I do. But hey, I don’t care.
As long as what I love what I’m doing, it’s all that matters.

True enough, many netizens don't buy these personal blog stuff. They don't give a dumb about what the writer write. But the truth is.. they do care about these writings , medyo nasasapul lang sila.
