Facebook Page New Timeline
Many
Facebook users have expressed their sentiments about the new changes that are taking place on the said social networking site. They are completely pissed off with the new timeline that was introduced by Mark Zurkerberg and his team last year. For 2011, the timeline made by Facebook developers is only available for the users who wish to take advantage of this update. However, when 2012 came, almost all user profiles were upgraded to timeline. After the changes have been made for the profiles, the next thing affected by the updates was Facebook groups where admins can already add Timeline Cover Photos to establish their own brand. As expected, Facebook pages will follow.
When I logged in to my
The Coffee Chic fan page few hours ago, I saw this on the top:
Facebook is once again introducing a brand new look for Facebook pages! I clicked the “Preview” button and received a Welcome message.
Without second thoughts, I decided to Publish the new timeline for my The Coffee Chic FB page. When everything is all set, I chose my own cover and profile photos. Here is the new look of TCC’s fan page. An important note to remember when choosing the cover photo (Facebook Policy): The space is not meant for promotions, coupons, or advertisements. Your cover photo should not be primarily text-based or infringe on anyone else’s copyright.
In less than five minutes, I have completed the page update.
So far, I am enjoying the new Facebook page update! There are still many things that I need to explore and study to get the best out from this new service. Here are some of the additions that I love from the update:
- Admin Panel – Administrators can now see all notifications, insights and new likes by simply checking the panel. One click and all needed information will be available.
- Direct Message – Fans can now send direct messages to the page admins. Questions, inquiries and concerns can now be addressed to the owners of the FB page. This means, more interaction and easier communication for the two parties.
- Swap Applications – Facebook page admins who enjoy using apps can now re-arrange the buttons with one single mouse click!
- Highlights – See updates by Friend Activity, Post by Page and Post by Others. Fast and easy!

I like it, especially the cover photo feature.. Tapos meron na ring messages. 😀 And one more good thing, pwede ko nang maview ang mga previous posts ko with ease. XD
When I first saw timeline, I was impress because of its features. large photos, and you can see your passed updates. I don't have FB page but I think this is great for your marketing if your blogging. You audience will know you better. .

You can only turn you fan page to timeline once you got notified about it?
Hi Algene! care to exchange link?
ang exciting lang din ng new revamps ng facebook for pages no? Though I personally am repulsive of the timeline in my profile page, I think the Facebook guys out there are just cooking out something real great after the transformation. keeping fingers crossed:)
