Picnik is Closing
When I checked
Picnik this morning, I saw their public announcement. I feel sad knowing that they have decided to shut down the site on April 19, 2012. I used to be fond of editing pictures using online sites such as Picnik. However, when I learned about Adobe CS Photoshop, I began using the new software instead. But as years pass by, I started to lose interest on Photoshop especially that I’m not getting good at it. So, I shifted back in using Picnik for the quick edits for my photos. For the past months, I have been using its features in making collages and adding credit texts on my pictures.
The news about Picnik’s decision in shutting down its site is devastating. I have become very comfortable in using it and I don’t think I will be able to find other sites that offer the same services that Picnik provides. Do you have any suggestions for me? I wonder how can I add watermark texts on my pictures without Picnik. I know I can always use Photoshop so I might as well begin checking it soon.

Aww.. hindi ako masyadong gumagamit ng picnik but I've heard maganda daw magedit ng photos dyan. My cousin uses it.. Sad nga naman kung magclose na.

Oo nga Gene,naka receive din ako ng notification sa kanila through email. May account kasi ako dun and like what you said, very comfortable din ako sa site nila. Now tuloy di ko na alam kung anu pa ba gagamitin ko after nila mag shut down. Sigh! đ

I ALSO USE PHOTOBUCKET & PICABOO. YOU CAN PROBABLY GO ON THE NET TO SEARCH FOR THE ENGINES TO THESE, I CAN'T GET THE INFO TO U AT THIS POINT. HOPE THIS HELPS???
Try picasa (yung software huh) or gimp. Both are free softwares
Sa umpisa lang mahirap mag edit sa photoshop pero masasanay ka din. Nung umpisa nangangapa lang din ako hanggang nasanay rin ako. Yung Gimp para din syang photoshop pero simplified baka mas madalian ka.
I heard it too. My sister purchased a membership for 1 year at picnik. But they will fully refund her.
With my blogger blog, Spices of My Life, I used Windows Live Writer. I type my post there and what I love most about it is that I can do watermarking with my pics.

Didn't know about this that picnik is closing soon. Sad talaga for a lot of people who're comfortably using it although I only edited some pictures before with it. Photoshop is really hard at first. Nangapa din ako jan. But I had to learn para sa designing carreer ko na nagsstart nang magbloom. Bongga! Haha. Tiyagaan lang talaga sa pagbasa ng tips. What I do is, if I wanted to do something and then I don't know how to exactly do it, I searched thru google and then read tutorials tapos iaapply ko. Nakakatuwa naman kasi very good ako. Haha.
Anyway, I really love it here. I'm so fascinated by this template. Napakaganda! Pinakafave ko to sa lahat ng blog mo.

whooh. I've been using picnik to edit my photos. is there any other online site to edit photos?
so sad to hear this one. i've been too an avid fan of picnik in editing my photos and creating a header on my other blog. But I've found a site that looks like picnik.
