Signs of Happiness: Supporting 5by20 by Coca-Cola

If you are a frequent visitor of my blog, you have probably noticed that most of my posts talked about happiness. I am a firm believer of the law of attraction which is why I love talking about happy things, thoughts, circumstances and individuals. I feel more alive whenever I read happy stories or see happy people. A few weeks ago, I wrote a blog entry about #HappiestThankYouToYou where I jotted down the blessings in my life that I am truly grateful for. The said video was an ad by Coca-Cola where it reminded everyone the value of making other people feel how thankful we are for everything that they do.
In this post, allow me to share another successful video created by Coca-Cola Philippines – Signs of Happiness:

What makes me happy about this video is the fact that it focuses on the power of women entrepreneurship. It showcases the efforts that different women have given in their chosen field of micro-business industry. Take for example Ate Mercy who owns a sari-sari store and who does not only focus on selling her goods but also on sharing the happiness to every customer. We also have Ate Elvira who’s carinderia is not only a simple and plain food place but also a perfect place for get-togethers for friends. You should check the video to see how Ate Mercy, Ate Elvira and other women succeed in their businesses.
The good news is that Coca-Cola believes in women entrepreneurs. This is the very reason why they are currently working on several programs to help and to empower women in business. As what Coca-Cola said on its website, “From fruit farmers to artisans to vendors, women around the world are already pillars of our business.”
With this great company’s 5by20 project, Coca-Cola aims to address the different barriers to success that women face. Some of the prepared programs and/or activities by this brand include:
The goal of this project is to empower 5 million women micro-entrepreneurs by the year 2020. Just like Coca-Cola, may we continue to support every business woman out there. Remember, there is always something more to the signs that we see. To learn more about 5by20, you can click here.
