Things to Add to Your Wish List That Will Save You Money in the Kitchen

Over the next few weeks, if you’re lucky, in addition to taking
wish list requests, you’ll also have people asking you what you’re wishing for
this Christmas. If you’re having trouble coming up with ideas, here are a few
items that will keep on giving all year long as they save you money in the
kitchen!
A slow cooker. If
you don’t already have a slow cooker, now is the time to try one. You can
easily cook meals for a big crowd and many of the recipes freeze easily for
quick next-day reheating (chili, soups, stews, etc.). There are tons of
cookbooks and recipes online.

A deep freezer. If
you have a big family and like to cook in batches or take advantage of big
sales on frozen food and meats, you may be running out of space and a deep
freezer could be a great addition to the basement. Tell your gift-giver he or
she may be able to save on this by shopping around for it on Craigslist.
A good set of pots
and pans.
If you have an old set of pots and pans that is starting to show
its age, now is a great time to upgrade to a higher quality set. You don’t
necessarily have to spend a lot on a good set (look around on Amazon for
reviews on moderately priced sets). However, making sure you get a reliable,
high-quality one will mean you won’t have to spend money again in the future to
replace it. A new set might also inspire you to cook a bit more, saving money
on your food bill!
A coffee machine. If
you find yourself stopping for fancy coffee drinks more often than you’d like,
a single-serve coffee machine that lets you try different flavors or one that
lets you add steamed milk to your drinks may be a great addition to your kitchen.

Really worth having…. the slow cooker is nice to have specially when you're a busy/working mom in which sometimes all you need to do after tiring day is to eat. Which means skip the cooking by yourself. Really work on every meat.

  14. As for me, I want a turbo broiler in the kitchen, so I can roast chicken anytime I want without much oil and fat. And it would save me a fortune instead of buying lechon manok all the time.
