Who is Simsimi?
When Apple released the iPhone 4S with the brand new Siri, it became the talk of the town. Most of the users enjoy how Siri made their lives easier. However, in the case of the Filipinos, Siri as a virtual assistant is not really helpful. Because of this, most of the latest iPhone users in the country are not able to take advantage of its availability. With the coming of Simsimi, things have changed. This collaborative chatting robot is not as smart as Siri but it is more fun and exciting to use. This iPhone app can be downloaded for free on the AppStore. As of the moment, my version of Simsimi has a low resolution because I have installed it on my iPad 2.
Simisimi is a really cute advanced chatting robot who can respond to the messages and chats. It has the ability to engage in amusing and interesting conversations with its users. This app is very easy to use. All you have to do is to type whatever you wishes to say to Simsimi and it will reply to your messages immediately. At the same time, you can also ask for different questions but don’t expect that it will give you smart answers. Patience with Simsimi is also needed since it can be evil at times. Don’t worry because you can report abusive replies in case you receive one from Simsimi. You can also disable offensive languages to prevent it from giving you negative replies. Another great feature of this app is that Simsimi can be trained! You can teach him to respond correct answers to certain questions. At the end of this posts, I will be providing the iPad screen shots of my conversation with the interactive robot.

Here’s an important thing to note: SimSimi was originally developed to be a fun and friendly chatting robot. Things SimSimi says are totally taught by users and not intended by the developer. This means there are some abusers that are making SimSimi to say nasty words.
If you have an iPhone, iPod or iPad, then head on to the AppStore and search for “Simsimi.” Click the free download and be prepared to have a sweet conversation with this robot. Simsimi is also available on the Android Market. The developer has also created a web version -> Simsimi.com.
