When Things Change

Goodbye…

Hello…

If you are a constant reader or visitor of my blog, you would surely notice the big changes in my page. After long years of using the green lady theme, I finally had the guts to step out of my comfort zone. Since my previous theme was tweaked by a close blogger friend of mine three years ago, I decided not to change anything that she has made. However, just this night, I felt like I needed to make some transformation for my original blog — The Coffee Chic. So, I went to Google and searched for custom-made themes (because, honestly, I’m not good in making my own themes). Luckily, I found the theme that perfectly qualifies as a replacement of my old template.

So, why the chef girl? I chose the theme because it represents me. I’m not a good cook but I love cooking. I find so much happiness when I bake or prepare meals for the persons I love. The girl in my page is simple and happy. Again, those characteristics describe me as a person. Simplicity and happiness – they always come together in me. The color of my new theme is also pleasing to my eyes. It is not exaggerated and shows neutrality for its base color is brown.
I also changed my comment settings which led to the removal of the previous comments posted by different bloggers in my page. The comments were important to me but since its deletion is part of the changes for my blog, I have no choice but to start over again. Bloggers can now comment easily on my page. I already removed the application which has caused much hassle in my comment system.
I have also said good bye to my old post template:
Please include your blog site in your comments to this post. Thank you!
Many things have changed in my life for the past three years. Some of the old settings in my blog was affected by the previous things that used to matter to me. Now that I have lived those years, I have also changed. My preferences have changed. What used to affect me before are now simple things that don’t matter to me. The new changes in my page are results of how the new things in my life affect me now.
THE COFFEE CHIC MAY HAVE A NEW LOOK BUT IT’S STILL THE OLD BLOG THAT I ALWAYS LOVE. I AM STILL THE COFFEE CHIC.
Credits to Gisele for my new theme.
