The Cute and Stylish Smartphone Called Gionee

As everyone knows, I’m not really your expert go-to-chic as far as gadgets and latest devices are concerned. But when I saw this incredibly cute and classy new smartphone brand a friend of mine was using, I suddenly had this excited urge to do a brief review on its features, beyond my usual gadget case reviews, with of course my reliable cappuccino on the side.

The phone brand is Gionee Elife E6, a relatively new player in the consumer market, but based on my initial impressions on the design and built, I believe it could give all the other established trademarks in the mobile industry a run for their money.
This smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, and is running on the latest Android 4.2.2 jellybean. Even though I am an iPhone user, I know these high-end specifications are the best for phones using the Android operating system.
It also sports a 1080p full HD IPS display and an OGS (One Glass Solution) display technology, which according to my friend, the phone uses a single piece of glass which integrates touch sensor and cover lens such reducing the weight and thickness of the unit. Big words, I thought. But what’s essential for me is that the phone display is fantastic, very good screen resolution, with vibrant colours and hues.
The design is definitely stylish, easily one of the most good-looking handsets today. The light-weight plastic material seems to be of very high quality as well, with polished edges, giving it a very slick look. To some consumers like me who are not much into detailed specifications, we tend to highly consider these features before doing any item purchase.
In this selfie generation, camera features are of utmost importance. This phone boasts of a 13.0 megapixel rear AF camera and 5.0 megapixel front-facing camera. Tempted to do selfies myself, I took some shots and needless to say, I looked stunning.
The 2,020 mAh battery will last roughly for 8 hours with light to moderate usage. But if you are a heavy user like me, it could last about 6 hours.
Also equally imperative in choosing a phone unit is its physical memory, most especially for those who download tons of applications every day. Gionee Elife E6 comes with 2GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which are great when users want to install multiple applications/games and running simultaneously without having to worry about lagging. Gamers would also love this phone, considering it meets their requirement for memory and screen size.
Additional impressive features of the smartphone are its Smart Gesture features.  Users can simply pick up the phone to their ear to answer a call automatically, without having to finger-touch the screen.  By moving their hand up or down the sensor, users may also answer or refuse the call. Oh, technology nowadays.
Moreover, the package comes with a white cute earphone, USB charger, a flip case which could also be used as a phone stand, and a screen protector.
Overall, I say this phone is a very good buy. Price tag is at P18,999, which is reasonably priced, and cheaper compared to other leading smartphones, but of almost the same quality and boasts of the same universal features of popular smartphones. Its selling points are its sophisticated design and display, and way better quality and higher specifications compared to other local Android phones I’ve seen in different stores and of some owners. I think it is safe to say that it is positioning itself as an alternative to Samsung or LG flagship phones.
If you are an iPhone user thinking of switching to Android, this phone will be your good choice. Should you buy the unit, please let me know your impressions and feedback as well.

With a phone like that I would get a screen protectors like the sapphire ones… If you can't get your hands on one, get a GEARMAXX screen protector. They sell on ebay for cheap and are as high quality and durable!
