Inner Peace

Inner Peace

If you have seen Kung Fu Panda 2, then the movie would be the first thing to cross your mind the moment you read the first two words of my blog post. In the said movie, INNER PEACE has always been mentioned in every scenes and conversations of the characters. It was first mentioned by Shifu, Po’s Kung Fu master. He said, “Anything is possible when you have inner peace.”

So, what does inner peace mean? For me, it is a state where one feels mentally and spiritually stable. It is the feeling one haves when he understands completely what is happening to him and to the universe. An individual is said to have an inner peace when he knows who he is and why he is here. He is the one that have answers to the questions of his own mind and heart. He is the one that is not greatly affected by other people for he himself knows what is best for himself.

I want to share the conversation of Po and Lord Shen while talking about inner peace. This conversation is simple and yet, full of learnings. By simply sharing this to you, I know, you will have a good grasp of how inner peace is important to each and everyone of us.

Lord Shen: How did you find peace? I took away your parents, everything, I scarred you for life.

Po: See that’s the thing Shen, scars heal,Lord Shen: No they don’t… wounds heal.Panda: Oh yah… what do scars do? They fade I guess.Lord Shen: I don’t care what scars do…Panda: You should Shen. You got to let go of the stuff from past – because it just doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is what you choose to be now.

Let us all find the joys and pains of our hearts to make our lives better. Or should say, at its best. When we find the pains, let us let them go. When we find the joys, let us keep them. This way, we will find our own inner peace. 🙂

Po, the main protagonist, has found his inner peace. This is because he has the best gang and he has let the pains of the past go.

Just like Po, I have also found my own inner peace. Thanks to my family, friends and boyfriend. Everything in my life must be crazy but is the best. Anyway, I want to give special gratitude to Abdel for bringing me earlier at SM Cinema 6 to enjoy Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D. It was a wonderful date! A perfect loving one ♥
