Legacy Leisure Residences on Importance of Great Home Design

The Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the lives of many people worldwide. All of us have experienced lockdowns and have been placed in several types of community quarantine for the purpose of preventing the spread of the virus. In fact, we are now even forced to live under the “new normal” since there is still no vaccine for the virus. All these have caused stress and panic for everyone.

If there is one thing that this situation taught us, it is the fact that having a proper home design is essential for everyone. We all consider our homes as our safe haven, our place of refuge, and even our sanctuary. This is why it is important always to experience calmness and serenity in our residence.

Legacy Leisure Residences, by Crisron Builders, Inc., understands the value of having a great home design that adapts to the changing times.

This new condominium in Davao city will soon rise in Ma-a. The developer takes pride in addressing the structural integrity of the buildings to withstand strong earthquakes. At the same time, it also upped the design of the amenity area. It will use 60% of its space for amenities to create a resort-themed recreational and multi-functional facilities, which will include an Olympic-sized swimming pool. The design will exude an “everyday staycation” that every resident will surely love.

Aside from this, residents are expected to enjoy the common perks of condominium living, such as having privacy, 24/7 security, and in-house amenities. Of course, the area will also have a commercial strip that will include food outlets, convenience stores, and pharmacies. Hence, in case a lockdown will be implemented again, residents will not have a hard time getting access to the essential commodities since the stores will be located in the same building.

Another interesting fact about Legacy Leisure Residences is that all its units are spacious. The developer knows that space has always been the primary consideration of people when it comes to buying condominium units. There are three types of units available, such as:

The developer aims to provide a liveable, comfortable and stress-free environment for its homeowners.

This is why the corporation has worked with Interior Designers Charisse Puentespina, Adeline Infante and Lyn Tan.

According to them, there are several things to take into consideration when it comes to condominium design, especially when the space is limited. These factors include efficient space planning that promotes a smooth flow of traffic, task and ambiance lighting, saving spaces with the use of multi-functional furniture and storage spaces, privacy nooks for multiple users, and the creative use of mirrors, colors, and texture to create the illusion of space.

Tips From Interior Designers

1. It must be noted that most condominium units have limited spaces, which is why there is a need to choose the right furniture. As such, a homeowner should take her time when it comes to selecting the sofas, tables and other furniture items. Every area must be measured well to avoid any problems in the future.

2. Color and lighting will affect the feel and vibe of a particular condominium unit. The three designers said that a color scheme will unify areas. It is a key to cohesiveness. Colors can change the frame of mind of the occupant. Peace and calm are what we need in times of long seclusion. The goal is to incorporate proper lighting at all times.

3. Every home design now should also be quarantine-ready. The best way to do it is to fill the unit with succulents or live plants. Adding greenery in the area will reduce anxiety, and may also purify the air inside one’s unit.

“Our spaces, no matter the size, must be designed to accommodate and support a myriad of interests and activities, and this entails very clever and functional storage and furniture that can be used several ways,” shares Lyn Tan, Coordinator for Interiors at PCTan Architects and Associates.
